Giardinetta

In the 70’s we were distributing wines in many countries throughout Europe and USA, but there was one particular place where the wines were not sold yet, Sweden. A new customer in Stockholm wanted to start business but needed the wines very quickly for a very important presentation. No express parcel service, no UPS or DHL and transportation by plane was way too expensive. The only solution for Roberto and Sergio was…to drive to Stocholm! They left Marsala with a 500 giardinetta (picture) packed with wine cases and travelled for 4 days……. The Swedish customer stayed with us for 30 years!
