This combination of fresh, ripe peaches and the delicious flavour of Marsala wine makes a supremely good summer dessert that has the added advantage of being made well in advance.

What you need:

6 Peaches 1 ½ oz (40g) brown Sugar A glass of Marsala Superiore Sweet 10 Amaretto Biscuits

Begin by cutting in thick slices the peaches (if  nectarines you can leave the skins on) and removing their stones. Then place the slices in a shallow baking dish, add brown sugar and pour the  Marsala Superiore Dolce over the peaches. Brake the Amaretti biscuits like a crumble, and sprinkle them on top of the peaches.  Finally place the baking dish on the centre shelf of the oven and bake without covering for 35-40 minutes.

Your Marsala peaches are ready! Serve with some fresh Greek Yogurt and of course, a glass of Marsala Superiore Dry or Sweet.
